LOST ORIGIN XR IMMERSIVE THEATRE
Lost Origin is a boundary-breaking piece combining theatre, cutting-edge mixed reality, and state-of-the-art interactive technologies. The live story experience, funded by UKRI and produced by Factory 42 in partnership with Almeida Theatre and Sky, uses interactive technologies (from XR to motion tracking/detection to projection mapping) to forge new ground in live performance

WORK SUMMARY
Supporting Tech Developers and QA Lead in final months of production to ensure system stability and consistency through playtesting, debugging, and 3D model/environment improvements. Majority of focus was on improvements to Magic Leap depth sensors, plane/marker tracking, live show control sync, debug reporting, and technical fixes/reporting.
Further support was provided in Unity project bug fix backlogs and through conducting user testing workshops, notation, and evaluation. This continued into the production period with on-call support, rapid bug fixing, further user testing, and collecting live show user data for report and evaluation.
